Noah Starr I Co-Founder, CEO

Noah is the Founder of Starr Equity, a real estate investment company based in Austin, TX. Prior to founding Starr Equity, Noah worked at Amherst Holdings, a real estate private equity firm in Austin, and Stonebriar Commercial Finance, a commercial finance company based in Dallas. With experience in both debt and equity transactions, Noah has underwritten over $10B in real estate deals, encompassing build to rent, multi family, office, industrial, hospitality, seniors housing, and self storage properties. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Noah is an active volunteer and donor for the Gift of Life Bone Marrow Registry. Noah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin, where he was a two time Team Captain and All American for the Lacrosse Team.

Marina Martinez I Co-Founder, COO

Marina has built a successful career in senior leadership and executive management roles, guiding companies through strategic growth and optimizing operations. She currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Starr Equity, where she leads the company’s operations and property management. Previously, Marina held the COO position at Xholdings International LLC (XHI), providing consulting services to portfolio companies while overseeing XHI’s operations. Before XHI, Marina was recruited by the CEO of Black Box to lead transformation and globalization efforts aimed at increasing efficiencies, reducing costs, and steering the company toward profitability. She played a crucial role in taking Black Box from public to private. Marina holds a Bachelor of Business and a Master of Science from Texas Tech University

Taylor Bills

Taylor is an investment manager at Starr Equity, where he spearheads sourcing, underwriting, and closing of new acquisitions and assists with portfolio management. Taylor worked at Sundance Bay, a real estate private equity firm in Salt Lake City with over $3B in assets under management. At Sundance Bay, Taylor underwrote $7B of debt and equity in real estate deals, encompassing industrial, retail, healthcare, and self-storage properties in addition to managing investor relations.

Taylor holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Brigham Young University.
